At Hayne House, we provide a serene and sustainable setting for your celebration of life, whether you’re hosting an event post-crematorium, a private ceremony, wake, or gathering.
Our spaces are designed to suit your needs, whether it’s an intimate ceremony for a minimum of 30 people or a larger standing event for up to 150 guests.
Your Options:
- The Elegant Orangery: Perfect for smaller or larger gatherings, the light filled orangery with its own private bar, complimentary WiFi, and disabled-accessible facilities.
- The Garden Room: Overlooking peaceful gardens, ideal for serene private ceremonies.
- Flexible Setup: Access the Orangery an hour before your event or drop off your items in advance, and we’ll handle the setup for you
- Caskets can be brought into the Orangery for the service or kept discreet in the former Hunting Lodge for nearest and dearest friends and family to have their final moment with their loved one privately after the Service.

Convenient Access & Amenities
- Free on-site parking for guests and cars can be left overnight
- A Hearst can drive up to the Orangery
- The Orangery has disabled access and has a disabled toilet.

- Accommodation options are available for those travelling from afar. This includes six rooms within the Former Hunting Lodge or book our other onsite accommodation with Hayne Barn

- We have a list of trusted suppliers from whom you can source additional items like live music, flowers etc

Pricing:
Our pricing is simple, and includes unlimited tea and coffee, staffing and a fully stocked bar for four hours:
Venue Hire £300 for four hours, plus a service charge for staff of £100 plus food and drink.
Deposit and payments
We require a non-refundable retainer of £400 to reserve the date. Your booking is not confirmed until we have received your payment. If you cancel more than 14 days before your event, the retainer will be lost.
Final food numbers must be confirmed 7 days before your event. If numbers fall below the minimum you will be charged for 30 guests.
