Our exclusive-use venue, paired with on-site accommodation, offers the perfect setting for families and friends travelling from afar to celebrate in a meaningful and eco-conscious way.

Our Package Includes:

At Hayne House, we provide a serene and sustainable setting for your celebration of life, whether you’re hosting an event post-crematorium, a private ceremony, wake, or gathering. 

Our spaces are designed to suit your needs, whether it’s an intimate ceremony for a minimum of 30 people or a larger standing event for up to 150 guests.

Your Options:

• The Elegant Orangery: Perfect for smaller or larger gatherings, the light filled orangery with its own private bar, complimentary WiFi, and disabled-accessible facilities.
• The Garden Room: Overlooking peaceful gardens, ideal for serene private ceremonies.
• Flexible Setup: Access the Orangery an hour before your event or drop off your items in advance, and we’ll handle the setup for you
• Caskets can be brought into the Orangery for the service or kept discreet in the former Hunting Lodge for nearest and dearest friends and family to have their final moment with their loved one privately after the Service.

• A selection of menus designed to suit your needs, from hot and cold canapes to traditional afternoon tea, buffets, grazing tables, or seated meals with flexible options for dietary requirements
• A selection of teas, coffee, and a bar selling soft drinks and alcoholic beverages available for purchase, or we can put together pre-arranged packages.

Personalised Atmosphere

• Opportunity to play your loved one’s favourite music on Spotify, book live musicians and put up a memory table for photos, and mementoes.

• Bring your own flowers or work with one of our recommended florists

• A compassionate team member will assist in planning every detail to honour your loved one’s or your wishes. As a wedding and events venue, we deeply understand the complexities of family dynamics and the importance of honouring relationships in all their forms.  Whether you’re planning a celebration of life, a wake, or a more intimate gathering, we approach every event with the utmost respect, sensitivity and care.  We recognise the diverse needs of families, including same-sex couples and blended families, and are committed to creating a space where everyone feels supported and valued.  Our team is here to help you navigate these moments with compassion, ensuring the day truly reflects love, remembrance and unity.

Convenient Access & Amenities

• Free on-site parking for guests and cars can be left overnight
• A Hearst can drive up to the Orangery
• The Orangery has disabled access and has a disabled toilet.

Accommodation

• Accommodation options are available for those travelling from afar. This includes six rooms within the Former Hunting Lodge or book our other onsite accommodation with Hayne Barn 

Suppliers

• We have a list of trusted suppliers from whom you can source additional items like live music, flowers etc

11 am Offsite Service at a local Crematorium 

12:30 pm Family and friends arrive at Hayne House and the bar is open

1 pm Refreshments along with tea and coffee served 

3:30 pm – to 4 pm Guests depart

Pricing:

Our pricing is simple, and includes unlimited tea and coffee, staffing and a fully stocked bar for four hours:

Venue Hire £300 for four hours, plus a service charge for staff of £100 plus food and drink.

Deposit and payments

We require a non-refundable retainer of £400 to reserve the date. Your booking is not confirmed until we have received your payment. If you cancel more than 14 days before your event, the retainer will be lost. 

Final food numbers must be confirmed 7 days before your event.  If numbers fall below the minimum you will be charged for 30 guests. 

Optional Add-ons:

• Overnight stays for guests travelling from further appeal

• AV facilities are available for slideshows or tributes price on the application
