It’s all about making it easier for our couples to plan a wedding that treads a little more lightly upon the planet – without having to compromise upon a single detail.

2024 Winners of the UKWHA Sustainability Award
We are extremely proud winners of the inaugural United Kingdom Wedding & Honeymoon Awards that took place at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, on the 29th of February 2024. It was a celebration of all aspects of the wedding and honeymoon industry and its commitment towards a brighter and greener future.

2021 A Wedding Venue committed to sustainability
At Hayne House, we take pride in building a sustainable wedding venue. We wholeheartedly believe that weddings can be kinder to the planet – without compromising on style or quality. Our team is passionate about upholding our responsibility for the environmental impact of weddings, and we’re committed to taking meaningful action to play our part in protecting our planet – this is what makes us an eco-friendly wedding venue.
We are proud to have received certification from the Sustainable Wedding Alliance in July 2021 and play an active role within the wedding industry to make it more sustainable.
2021 – Accelerating Toward Net Zero
In January 2021, we took a bold step forward by joining the United Nations Race to Zero Campaign, a global initiative committed to achieving net zero by 2050. But at Hayne House, we believe we can get there much sooner. We’re on track to cutting our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2025, with the ambition of reaching as close to net zero as possible by 2030.
While we continue to refine how we measure our Scope 3 emissions, our commitment to sustainability remains unwavering. As proud ambassadors of the Sustainable Wedding Alliance, we’re dedicated to driving change within the wedding industry—ensuring that celebrations of love also honour the planet.

April 2018 – We launched the Orangery
We opened our Orangery in 2018. It was designed as a sustainable, light-filled space to provide a modern yet elegant setting for weddings, seamlessly blending with the surrounding gardens. Read all about the Orangery
